In the Sea

We started this picture by sketching a fish, a fish skeleton, and some seaweed. We painted our backgrounds and t then we made pictures using pencils, vivid pens and dye. We cut them out and stuck the pictures onto our backgrounds to made our sea assemblages

Grandma

Lucia made this art work for Grandparents Day which unfortunately had to e cancelled due to Covid 19 Materials used – Fabric over corrugated cardboard for the face; fur fabric for the hair; wonderful red for grandma’s cardigan and grey fabric for her blouse.

Nana

This collage was made especially for Grandparent’s day which sadly we had to cancel because of Covid 19! Leila has used fabric over corrugated cardboard; lambs wool hair; buttons, feathers and pompoms for detail.

Stained glass window

Nina loves to create and paint on canvases. She saw this technique online and wanted to try it out. She started with masking tape and chalk on the footpath but these were obviously only temporary pieces! She wanted something permanent, so made this piece to hang inside. Acrylic paint on canvas. 500 x 600mm.

Springtime

I have been playing around with a drawing compass to make colourful designs. For my final artwork I used A3 paper, a mechanical pencil, a ruler, a 0.2 black pen, an eraser, and lots of coloured pencils. It took me a long time to make it really detailed.
