Under the sea

We sketched fish, shells and feathers and then we painted a background of the sea. We painted a fish and then drew shells and other sea things with pastel and vivid. When we got these all cut out, we stuck them onto the background.

A Portrait

This picture started at discovery time when Alice was painting on newsprint creating lots of different patterns. When the paper got very heavy with pant it ripped and when I said it looked a bit like a face, Alice painted features and stuck on some hair.. we also found a heavier piece of paper!

The Sea

My Happy fish

We looked at fish, shells, feathers and seaweed and had to draw them. Then we painted a fish and put details on it with vivd. We did pictures of the other sea objects with pastels and then when they were cut out, we stuck them onto our painted backgrounds. Size – A2

Tankard

We had to sketch a tankard using a 6B pencil on cartridge paper. We all sat around it so we had to draw the view that we saw. we had to think about shape, line, and light Size A5

This is a sketch done with a 6b pencil. We all looked at the tankard and had to draw whatever angle we were presented. We looked at lines, shapes and light Size A5

Fancy Fish in the sea

We started this picture by sketching a fish, a fish skeleton, and some seaweed. We painted our backgrounds and t then we made pictures using pencils, vivid pens and dye. We cut them out and stuck the pictures onto our backgrounds to made our sea assemblages size A2
