This is my favorite picture because I love mermaids. I have drawn one of them at the Mangawhai Kindergarten and wanted to create an underwater world. I have learned that from my older sister Malina who teached me all about drawing.
At the beginning, I drew the mermaids and sea creatures on paper and cut them out. The background is painted with watercolours and I put on some wrapping paper looking like seaweed and used real sand and shells from the beach.
I have worked on that creation for a long time and absolutely love it : )
