Nina loves to create and paint on canvases. She saw this technique online and wanted to try it out. She started with masking tape and chalk on the footpath but these were obviously only temporary pieces! She wanted something permanent, so made this piece to hang inside. Acrylic paint on canvas. 500 x 600mm.

My artwork is an A4 acrylic painting of a cow on card. It was done as part of my year 10 art class and is loosely based of the calf I am currently rearing, Lucy.

As an artist iv’e always taken pleasure in drawing portraits to capture peoples finest moments and details. I do artworks mainly in oil paint and black and white with pencil. This piece was painted for my school NCEA art board and explores the idea that time is very limited and nobody stays young forever.

I made Mr Ghost at school. He is a made from paper mache, paint, and fabric. He is the first puppet I have ever made.

I have been playing around with a drawing compass to make colourful designs. For my final artwork I used A3 paper, a mechanical pencil, a ruler, a 0.2 black pen, an eraser, and lots of coloured pencils. It took me a long time to make it really detailed.

I really love to draw and paint. Dragons and other mythical creatures are some of my favourite things to draw. I am also really interested in space so I have drawn both together: a dragon in a mythical place of many moons. I used pencil, black ink pen, paper, and my imagination. 30x40cm
